OpsWorks can be used as a compliance tool. We can use OpsWorks to continuously monitor and maintain the configuration of our servers. Whenever a server that does not have the correct configuration is detected, the server can be automatically brought back to the baseline. For example, when an administrator opens a port on a server manually that should not have been open, the OpsWorks solution can detect this change and apply the correct configuration on the server.
