In this chapter, we moved our application from development to production. We learned how Makefile.PL made it simple to manage dependencies and create packages. We also saw how to create a unique configuration for each environment, and how to set up a variety of web servers. We learned how to make our application a self-contained file, called a PAR. We also learned how to version database and code for easy maintenance and deployment.
