1. Club Cubana
Perched on a hilltop, this multi-level open-air nightclub is known as “the nightclub in the sky”. There are several bar areas and the VIP section overlooks an impressive waterfall cascading into an underlit open-air pool. The music includes everything from house and techno to hip hop. Only couples are admitted; and there’s even a ladies-only dance floor.

2. Hill Top
Set in a neon coconut grove, Hill Top transforms into a prime destination for Goa’s trance scene on some evenings. Apart from its wild New Year and Christmas rave parties, which span over three or four days, it is famous for its weekly Sunday sessions when international DJs spin psychedelic-trance beats until 10pm and on Fridays when the focus shifts to techno and house.
3. Club Tito’s
Baga’s legendary nightlife is mainly attributed to the iconic Tito’s. Every Saturday night, revellers descend on the dance floor to enjoy pulsating retro and Bollywood hits. Guest DJs feature throughout the season. Next door is Mambo’s, which gets packed with a lively crowd most nights. Hip-hop, and techno dominate after 11pm here.
4. Sinq Night Club
Created as a one stop destination for partygoers, Sinq features four entertainment zones – a chic nightclub, a bistro with an Irish pub ambience, a poolside deck and private cabanas – that create the ultimate party venue. There’s an open-air poolside lounge with a discotheque as well. Resident DJs spin mainstream dance tracks several nights a week.
5. SOMA Project
Fans of electronic music will not want to miss visiting this trendy beach club with a lively restaurant and a great cocktail bar on Ashvem Beach. The resident DJs here keep the crowds on their feet by spinning their sets late into the night.
6. Shiva Valley
Known as the temple of trance, this large shack, next to Curlies, attracts a huge crowd. Every Tuesday it remains packed mostly due to its psychedelic trance parties, which kick off from 5pm and continue well beyond midnight. Besides Tuesdays, Full Moon Night parties are also a big hit here. It has hosted big-name DJs, such as Earthling, Avalon, Tristan, Nigel, Ajja, Raja Ram.
7. Silent Noise
On a rock promontory at the southern end of Palolem Beach, Silent Noise stages weekly headphone parties on Saturday nights. Put on a wireless headset and take your pick of either trance, house, hip hop, electro and funk played by three different DJs.
8. LPK Waterfront

Set against the backdrop of a 400-year-old church on the banks of the Nerul, LPK or Love Passion Karma is a fashionable Goan nightspot. Constructed mainly out of mud and stone, sculpted terracotta statues can be seen all around. Groove to the latest Bollywood hits here. The deck provides a great chill-out area.

9. Leopard Valley
One of the biggest open-air venues in India, Leopard Valley is a high-octane nightclub featuring a 7-m (22-ft) high DJ stage. Groove to the best of EDM and Goa trance amid 3D laser light shows, pyrotechnics and firepits. The main parties are held here on Friday nights. Guest DJs include Eve Carey of Ministry of Sound fame, MV Cliff and Dan Booth.
10. Chronicle
On the shores of Little Vagator and against the backdrop of the rocky Vagator cliffs, Chronicle has a cocktail bar, Italian restaurant and an open-air dance floor, all impressively spread across five levels. The ground level, a multifunctional space, becomes a weekly outdoor dance floor. Music from deep house and tech to progressive pull in the crowds here.
