Two Days in Los Angeles
Day 1
Start the day on Historic Hollywood Boulevard, at the TCL Chinese Theatre, where you can step among the footprints of the stars. From the Hollywood & Highland Center, spot the famous Hollywood Sign. Then drive past the sights of Sunset Strip. Continue into Beverly Hills for lunch on Rodeo Drive.
Head to The Getty Center, a masterpiece of the LA community – wandering through the Impressionist Room or the gardens, while taking in the fabulous views of the coastline and hills.
Day 2
Enjoy breakfast at Marston’s in Pasadena before heading over to The Huntington Pick a couple of gardens to focus on – like the Desert Garden or Rose Garden – and then step into the art gallery to view the masterpieces on display.
Take the Metro to Union Station, Downtown. Cross the street to El Pueblo de Los Angeles and have lunch on Olvera Street. From Alameda Street, take the DASH B bus to the striking Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels. Walk down South Grand Avenue to the Walt Disney Concert Hall, MOCA, and The Broad museum.
Four Days in Los Angeles
Day 1
After breakfast at Downtown’s Grand Central Market, cross Broadway and look inside the Bradbury Building. Walk over to South Grand Avenue to admire The Broad museum and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Take DASH B bus to El Pueblo de Los Angeles and explore LA’s early history. From Union Station, take the Metro to Hollywood/Highland Station.
Try a little star-gazing on Historic Hollywood Boulevard before taking a bus or taxi down to Melrose Avenue for shopping. Have lunch here or at the Farmers Market on Fairfax Avenue. Enjoy some of LA’s finest art and culture over at LACMA, a few blocks away.
Day 2
Spend the morning among the roses at the Huntington before driving over to Universal Studios HollywoodSM.
Focus on the most popular attractions, such as the famed Wizarding World of Harry Potter, King Kong, and Jurassic Park. Then head over to Griffith Park.
Day 3
Pedal a rental bicycle from Santa Monica to Venice along the famous Venice Boardwalk. Snack like a local at Jody Maroni’s. Return along Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street.
Enjoy a blissful afternoon at The Getty Center.
Day 4
Disneyland® Resort and California Adventure® really require a full day. Buy a Park Hopper ticket that allows entry into both parks. Spend the morning on the rides at Disneyland®.
Shift over to California Adventure® by late afternoon and be sure to stay for the spectacular World of Color display at night.
