Dating back over 150 years, and notorious as the market where all stolen goods wind up, Chor Bazaar has numerous shops selling second-hand and vintage paraphernalia. From rare antiques, furniture and bronze statues to old records, vibrant Bollywood posters and electronics, the endless list of items available here, all at throwaway prices, is unceasingly fascinating.
A perfect place to find trendy clothes, antique jewellery and a wide range of shoes, Hill Road is one of the most famous shopping streets in the city. It is lined with several street vendors, large-scale retail stores and eateries.

It was built in the days of the British Raj, and is well known for selling fresh fruits, vegetables, homemade chocolates and spices at extremely low prices. It also houses a pet section with aquarium fish and birds.
