Yammer Enterprise users require an Azure Active Directory identity to log into a Yammer network. By default, if you have synchronized your on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD, you don't have to do anything to enable this. If you are using a standalone Yammer subscription, your users will be required to have an Azure Active Directory identity (either self-service signup or administrator-created).
