The two appendices provide information to help you use the CD that accompanies this book:
Appendix A describes what you need to do to get the sample application running on your mainframe (OS/390) system. Information about developing and configuring each of the components is contained in their respective programming chapters.
Appendix B provides an outline of the directories that are on the CD-ROM in order to help you find the files that we describe in this book.
