Daily Operations Using QuickBooks
The chapters in Part Two cover the most common day-to-day bookkeeping chores you’ll be performing in QuickBooks. They contain instructions and tips that will help you complete your most routine tasks in QuickBooks efficiently and accurately. From time to time, there will also be information that you can pass along to your accountant, who may want to know how QuickBooks is handling the tasks you’re performing.
Specifically, in Chapters 9 and 10 you’ll learn what you need to know about sending invoices to your customers, recording the payments you receive from them, and creating transactions that provide job-costing data. Chapter 11 covers how to track and pay the bills you receive from vendors. Printing, sending, and managing these and other related documents is covered in Chapter 14.
In Chapters 12 and 13, you’ll gain an understanding of how to manage your bank and credit card accounts using QuickBooks.
