Note added to “Adjusting an anchor point” section (page 129 in the printed book).
In After Effects 12.1 and later, you can move the anchor point to the center of the layer content: Choose Layer > Transform > Center Anchor Point In Layer Content.
Note
In After Effects 12.1 and later, a new layer is placed directly above the currently selected layer in the Timeline panel; if no layer is selected, the layer appears at the top of the stack. In previous versions of After Effects, new layers always appeared at the top of the stack. The following text replaces the first step in the “Adding a solid-color layer” section, which is on page 141 in the printed book.
1. Make sure the CarRide Timeline panel is open, and that no layers are selected.
Note
The following sidebar has been added near the “Masking video using vector shapes” section of the lesson.
