3. Score on Davie

This sports bar and grill is known for its friendly welcome, casual vibe and great patio space. Brunch is provided until 2pm every day. Try a Caesars (similar to a Bloody Mary cocktail), and tuck into an enormous portion of fried delights. There is also a fantastic selection of craft ales and bottled lager on offer here. The Village’s most popular gay pub features nightly entertainment, especially for those who are inclined towards the leather subculture. Drinks here are cheap, and friendly fun is guaranteed.
5. Delany’s Coffee House

Perhaps the city’s most popular see-and-be-seen coffee house, this place has a relaxed ambience and a good-sized patio.
6. Little Sister’s Book & Art Emporium

If there is an anchor to Vancouver’s gay community, Little Sister’s is it. More than a bookstore, this is a long-standing institution that has taken Canada Customs to the Supreme Court of Canada in its fight for freedom from censorship. There is a good selection of literature, event tickets, gift items, clothing, DVDs, and various play things.
7. Sunset Beach and Wreck Beach
A few blocks southwest of Davie Village, Sunset Beach is popular with runners and cyclists, or those strolling with a coffee in hand. In summer, volleyball players fill up the beach. Located at the bottom of UBC cliffs, the secluded Wreck Beach is thronged with people who enjoy sunbathing au naturel. There are several steep but maintained trails, and during the warmer months many vendors sell refreshments and beach fare.

8. Davie Village
With its fuchsia bus shelters and trash bins, Davie Village is the city’s gay ‘hood. Located in the West End between Burrard Street and Jervis Street, it’s a lively 24-hour strip with cafés, an excellent selection of interesting shops (including sex shops), gay clubs, and restaurants for all budgets and tastes, not to mention its plethora of trendy bars.

This fun, friendly, and unpretentious gay club is usually packed with people from all walks of life. There’s something for everyone, including pool tables, darts, DJs pumping out club classics and the latest tunes across five dance floors, and also a Karaoke Funbox in the loft every night. Ongoing events at the club include cabaret nights and drag shows. Daily drinks specials feature extravagant cocktails and jugs of delicious beer.
