We can't put the genie back in the bottle, but why would we want to? After all, the genie grants wishes, which begs the question: What are your wishes? In other words, what do you value most and want more of? After all, we are wealthy when we have an abundance of what we value. This book is an invitation to reimagine and redefine what wealth means to you, within the context of our present‐day world, because, as it turns out, wealth is much more multifaceted than the antiquated narrative might have you think. It’s time to expand the concept and definition of wealth, into the world of Invisible Wealth.
“A person's worth is measured by the worth of what he values.”
—Marcus Aurelius
Part II of this book introduces and explores the 5 Principles of Invisible Wealth: wealth of money and investment; wealth of health and quality of life; wealth of knowledge, status, and influence; wealth of time, energy, and experience; and wealth of relationships with self and others. Each principle is fundamentally familiar yet deserves revisiting as we enter into the new wealth paradigm. These principles highlight the ways in which we are becoming increasingly comfortable with pegging value to intangible assets, digital assets included. The universe of value is evolving, as new innovations develop. With the evolution in our concept of value comes the evolution in our concept of wealth.
