Once you’ve mastered the basics of savings accounts, checkbooks, debit cards, saving money, spending money, and so forth, you’re ready to move on to some more complex matters of money and finances.
Maybe you’ve already got a credit card or are thinking about getting one. Maybe you’ve saved up some money, and you’re looking for an opportunity to invest it. Perhaps you’re interested in joining or starting an investment club, or maybe you’re even thinking about starting your own business.
Although these topics are more advanced than others we’ve covered in this book, they’re areas that more and more teens are becoming involved with. Teenagers no longer sit back and let adults handle their finances. They’re right in there, buying stock and making other kinds of investments, starting and growing companies, and handling their finances like old pros.
This part deals with some of those more advanced finance-related topics, and helps you to plan your financial future.
