Less-Salt BBQ Baked Beans

These delicious beans are ready in about the same amount of time it takes to heat a pan of beans on the stovetop, and the sodium is slashed by more than 400mg per serving.

2 tbsp maple syrup

2 tbsp molasses

1 tsp Dijon mustard

14 cup ketchup

12 tsp garlic powder

2 x 15oz (420g) cans cannellini or pinto beans, rinsed and drained

14 cup water

1. Make the sauce by combining the maple syrup, molasses, Dijon mustard, ketchup, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Mix well.

2. Combine the beans and water in the inner pot, and add the sauce. Mix well to combine.

3. Cover, lock the lid, and flip the steam release handle to the sealing position. Select Pressure Cook (Low), and set the cook time for 4 minutes. When the cook time is complete, quick release the pressure.

4. Remove the lid, stir, and transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot.
