Tomatillo Whirl
with honey & lime

There’s more to tomatillos than making salsa! This tangy green drink is filling and offers many nutrients, like fiber, potassium, niacin, and iron–for about 40 calories per serving.

 

2 tomatillos, husks removed and flesh roughly chopped

1 tbsp honey

juice of 1 lime

  1. 1 In a blender, combine 114 cups water, tomatillos, honey, lime juice, as many ice cubes as needed, and sea salt to taste. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  2. 2 Pour the mixture into two chilled glasses and serve immediately.
