Pom Pom
with clementine

Once just an obscure fruit, pomegranates are now almost everywhere. Because the arils–the seed pods–also have antioxidants, this smoothie features the pods and the juice.

 

1 clementine, zested and peeled

2 cups pomegranate juice

1 cup low-fat Greek yogurt

14 cup pomegranate arils

  1. 1 In a blender, combine clementine zest and flesh, pomegranate juice, yogurt, pomegranate arils, and as many ice cubes as needed. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  2. 2 Pour the mixture into two chilled glasses and serve immediately.
