Roasted Pineapple
with cottage cheese

This smoothie has just three ingredients, but it’s the complete package. Every sip offers protein, healthy carbs, electrolytes, and fluids–great after a workout for optimal recovery.

 

2 cups fresh pineapple

112 cups coconut water

12 cup low-fat cottage cheese

  1. 1 Preheat your oven to broil. Place pineapple in a broiler-safe pan and broil until bubbly, about 5 minutes. Remove pineapple from the pan and set aside to cool for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. 2 In a blender, combine cooled broiled pineapple, coconut water, cottage cheese, and as many ice cubes as needed. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  3. 3 Pour the mixture into two chilled glasses and serve immediately.
