Grapes are botanically berries, and roasting them brings their sweetness to another level. Use a combination of red and green grapes for an even more unexpected smoothie experience.
2 cups halved grapes
1 frozen medium banana
1 Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C). Place grapes on a baking pan and roast for 7 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven, transfer grapes to a small bowl, and place the bowl in the freezer for 3 to 4 minutes.
2 In a blender, combine 1 cup water, cooled grapes, and banana. Blend on high speed until smooth.
3 Pour the mixture into two chilled glasses and serve immediately.
