with a splash of lemon

This smoothie offers a huge boost of vitamin A to promote healthy skin. Leave the skin on the apples for more fiber, and serve this refreshing juice blend poured over ice.

 

2 cups chopped carrots

2 small apples, Gala or Fuji varieties recommended cored and chopped

juice of 1 lemon

  1. 1 In a blender, combine 2 cups water, carrots, apples, and lemon juice. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  2. 2 Pour the mixture into two chilled glasses—over ice if desired—and serve immediately.
