The Seven Practices of 4.0 Learners

It’s time to upgrade to learning 4.0! This section presents seven learning 4.0 practices. Some include updates to the learning 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 capabilities you already have in your repertoire; others will be new to you and replace the learning methods you’ve used in the past. You may find yourself using all the techniques, or just one or two—the situation will determine what you need. Use these 4.0 practices whenever they can help you learn.

This section contains many suggestions and explains how they can help you be a successful 4.0 learner. To get the most out of your first read-through, take advantage of the reflect and connect stops, and use the note-taking formats in Tool 3 to help you turn what you read into information you can use later.
