Although two chapters in this book relate to particular T’ai Chi styles (Chapters 13 and 14), the majority of this book is a valuable resource for anyone exploring any style of T’ai Chi or QiGong. In fact, this book is used as a student primer and textbook by many teachers of many different styles worldwide. With that in mind, I created this appendix to expose readers to the many styles and schools in their communities, so you can hit the ground running in beginning your T’ai Chi and QiGong journey now.
For those who can’t attend local live classes, the four-hour instructional DVD listed in Appendix C can be a godsend. Its real-time class-like format is similar to attending classes in the comfort of your own home. The DVD details the illustrated instructions in Chapter 13, and teaches the Moving QiGong warm-ups in a real-time, relaxing, meditative format. You may also find that after learning at home, it’s easier to learn in live classes, even if the styles are different.
In this appendix, you’ll find links to the world’s most extensive listing of contact information for T’ai Chi and QiGong organizations, schools, and teachers, a list of some of the most popular T’ai Chi and QiGong-related magazines and journals, and links to some of the largest world conferences and congresses on T’ai Chi and QiGong.

You are your own best judge of what school or teacher is right for you. Always use discernment when contacting and choosing a school or teacher.
