Summary

This was a pretty interesting chapter. You learned a lot more about the built-in generic view provided by Django and looked in detail into ModelForms and how we could customize them. We figured out some benefits of the modular MVC pattern that Django follows and third-party open source Django applications and how we can include them in our projects.

You also learned a great deal about how to pass data to our forms even when they are placed on separate pages and how to create a form that is displayed on two pages (the comment form) while making sure that the data is synchronized between both.

All in all, the application that we ended up creating was both fun to program and a complete product.
