Design patterns revisited

The design patterns described in the GoF book are categorized into creational, structural, and behavioral patterns. Each of the patterns describe a typical challenge in software and shows a way to tackle and solve those situations. They represent implementation blueprints and are not dependent on any specific technology. That is why the idea of each of these patterns can be realized without precisely matching the described implementation. In the modern world of Java SE 8 and EE 8, we have more language features available than was the case in the past. I want to show some of the Gang of Four design patterns, their motivations, and how they can be realized in Java EE.
