Geolocation routing

Geolocation routing allows us to determine the location of our users by geolocating the source IP addresses the requests for the DNS are coming from, and then delivering the endpoint that is designed to serve the specific region. With geolocation routing, we can design applications that are able to deliver custom content based on the country or region our users are coming from, in the appropriate language, and with the appropriate compliance with local laws and regulations. For instance, if we have an application that is designed to deliver content to users from the US and EU, we can have the US content served from the US regions and the EU content from the EU regions, and then use geolocation routing to forward requests from the appropriate geographical area to the appropriate servers. This enables us to easily comply with the local laws and also maintain all the user data within the data governance-required geographical area.
