Use cases for queues

There are numerous reasons why one would introduce a queue in an application design. Everything from making sure the application components are decoupled to using the queue as a buffering interface, to making sure we can send requests that would otherwise be consuming other services and providing a batch distribution endpoint. To give you a better idea of how one can use a queue, we are going to discuss a few examples.
