OpsWorks takes care of the installation, scaling, and high availability of the solution while we maintain the same level of access as with a standalone installation of either Chef or Puppet.

With OpsWorks, we get complete control within our operating system. We can control any aspect of the configuration, including the following:

• Controlling system configurations and operating system settings
• Running scripts and applications
• Performing regular maintenance jobs
• Modifying files
