In this chapter, we'll explore some of the features that are available in the serde crates family. This family includes the inseparable pair – the serde and serde_derive crates. It also includes crates such as serde_json, serde_yaml, and toml that provide you support for special formats, such as JSON, YAML, and TOML. All of these crates are pure Rust and don't require any external dependencies.
