Deeper dive – conversation clusters

Watson Analytics features conversation cluster visualizations that can be used to comprehend important terms that appear in social media posts about the topics you added as part of your project. This helps you to find trends and will point out facets and insights that you may not have been thinking of back when you were defining your project topics and themes. Take a look at the following screenshot:

Each distinct conversation cluster will show terms that appear together in a noteworthy amount of social media content. If a term is found often, it will be shown using a heavier font in the conversation cluster. In our project, we see the terms empty, logistics, and co.colour uk.

If you click on the empty term, Watson Analytics for Social Media shows the content and posts that contain the term in the panel on the right-hand side of the page. In addition, in some cases, if you click on the link to the selected content, you are sent to the actual content (where you can view the original post or mention), as shown in the following screenshot:
