In this chapter, we will be focusing on pattern recognition and using Watson Analytics to identify regularities in data, in an effort to (automatically) positionally classify athletes based upon provided data. We'll also develop a Watson Analytics project to analyze historical performance data collected on a number of professional athletes, with the objective of looking for and recognizing patterns in the data in order to predict which position on a football team the athlete may be most successful at playing.
