Section 2: Interoperability with Arrow: pandas, Parquet, Flight, and Datasets

This section of the book focuses in more depth on how Arrow interacts with or replaces other common technologies. It describes how it stacks up against data interchange formats such as Protobuf, storage formats such as Parquet, and others. It also explores the Arrow Flight RPC protocol, including examples of setting up a simple client and server. Finally, this section also covers multi-file datasets and using the Compute APIs.
