Microsoft has done a great job on the latest iteration of SQL Server Reporting Services. We have various options outside of the traditional report development with Report Server and SQL Server Data Tools. The combination of SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services, Power View, PowerPivot, and SharePoint has definitely raised the bars in Business Intelligence and Reporting.
