A comprehensive knowledge of fundamental chemistry is essential for promising and sustainable future. It plays a leading role in shaping the future of research and development with the integration of multidisciplinary fields which include life sciences, material science, medicine, engineering and technology.

Engineering Chemistry is a textbook exclusively designed for the needs of undergraduate students of all disciplines of engineering and technology. This book introduces the fundamental concepts in a simple and illustrative manner. The book contains six theory chapters and twelve lab experiments as per the latest engineering chemistry syllabi offered by JNTU Anantapur and Kakinada. Each chapter starts with a brief introduction, and provides in-depth information of the relevant topics covered in the syllabus. The textbook covers all the topics and includes latest information with diagrams, tables and solved numerical problems and the review zone containing fill in the blanks, multiple-choice, short answer questions and descriptive questions for examinations.
