SHOULDER STRETCH

Shoulders are a common area for injury, but regularly stretching can strengthen shoulder muscles. Plus, stretches can help with posture and biomechanics by activating the three heads of the shoulder muscles: the posterior, medial, and anterior deltoids.

1 Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and relax your arms at your sides.

2 Slowly reach your left arm toward your right shoulder. Cup your right hand around your left elbow and create resistance by pushing your left arm into your cupped hand. Hold this position for 30 seconds. Repeat these steps with your right arm reaching and your left hand cupping.
