This cardio exercise gives a little spark to your heart rate, but it’s also effective at building strength. Because this exercise incorporates your core, hip flexors, and shoulders, you’re going to get a full fitness experience with these movements.

1 Place your hands, knees, and the tops of your feet flat on the floor.

2 Extend your legs backward and balance your body on the toes of your feet.

3 Bend your left knee and quickly drive your left knee toward the right side of your chest. Quickly extend your left leg backward.

4 Bend your right knee and quickly drive your right knee toward the left side of your chest. Quickly extend your right leg backward. Repeat these last two steps for 30 seconds.
