Opens the New Project dialog box to create a new, blank project.

Opens an existing project by browsing to an FXP file.

Close Project

Closes the current project.

Saves the current project. If the project has never been saved, this command does the same thing as Save As.

Prompts you to save the project with a new name.

Saves the project as a copy.

Run Project

Ctrl+Enter

Runs the project in Flash Player.

Exits out of Catalyst.

Undoes the prior command.

Redo

Redoes the most recent command that was undone.

Cut

Cuts the selected objects to the clipboard.

Copy

Copies the selected object to the clipboard.

Paste

Pastes the contents of the clipboard to the artboard. The objects will be pasted into the currently selected layer.

Items cut or copied from within Catalyst will be placed at whatever spot on the artboard they were cut or copied from; items cut or copied from outside applications will be placed at the last point on which the artboard was clicked.

Shows or hides the guides. The menu item will display with a checkmark if the guides are visible, in which case selecting it again will hide them.

Locks or unlocks the guides. Locked guides cannot be selected or moved. The menu item will display with a checkmark if the guides are locked, in which case selecting it again will unlock them.
