Oracle VM VirtualBox is an open source, cross-platform virtualization software package for x86 and AMD64- or Intel 64-based computers from Oracle Corporation. It was developed by innotek GmbH and then taken over by Sun Microsystems in the year 2008. Now developed by Oracle, this product was formerly known as Sun VirtualBox.
