Accessing the Google Accounts Settings

Google+ has an integrated settings page known as Google accounts, which you can access via the Google+ bar. Click your account icon (the small thumbnail image of your profile) in the Google+ bar to reveal the account settings, as shown in Figure 12-1. This reveals Account settings and Privacy. Clicking either of these takes you to the Google accounts page. The other two options (Profile and Google+) link back to areas on the Google+ site.

The following options appear in the left-hand column of the Google accounts page (as shown in Figure 12-2):

+ Profile and privacy

+ Google+

+ Language

+ Data liberation

+ Connected accounts

You learn about the options available in each of these areas in this chapter. When you’re finished editing settings, return to Google+ by clicking +Yourname icon in the Google+ bar (or clicking the account icon and choosing Profile).
