Cross compilation

Compiling a Go-GTK based application for additional platforms requires requires additional C compilers to be installed so that CGo can create the necessary binary output. The steps for completing this, if you haven't done so already, are in the Appendix, Cross-Compiler Setup. You'll also need to have GTK+ installed, which should obviously already be the case. As the Cross compilation section of Chapter 4Walk - Building Graphical Windows Applications, andlabs UI already stepped through the details, so we won't repeat them here. The process is identical due to andlabs UI's use of the GTK+ library for some target platforms. Be sure to set the appropriate GOOS, GOARCH, CGO_ENABLED, CC, and CXX environment variables.

Before we wrap up our exploration of the toolkit, we should look at the benefits provided by its theming capabilities.
