If you are writing FreeMarker templates, use the FreeMarker Eclipse plug-in. To get this plug-in, point your Eclipse Update Manager at http://www.freemarker.org/eclipse/update.
The FreeMarker project maintains templates, plug-ins, and modes for Eclipse, Emacs, jEdit, KWrite, TextPad 4, and Vim. These tools are described on the FreeMarker site at http://freemarker.org/editors.html.
