Judgement is the quality of mind or character that enables you to make the right choices or decisions, or to reach intelligent conclusions.

It is not to be confused with either knowledge or experience. You can have one or both of these in buckets and still lack judgement.

Judgement seldom applies to an inborn quality, though it usually suggests a foundation of native good sense. But it also suggests intellectual qualities, such as the discernment of facts or conditions that are not obvious, as well as knowledge of those that are ascertainable.

Together with these skills goes an ability to comprehend the significance of those facts and conditions and to draw correct, unbiased conclusions from them. Training, discipline and experience are the key actors in the shaping of your judgement.
