1. Sign in to your AWS account and open the AWS Developer Tools at https://us-west-2.console.aws.amazon.com/codesuite.
2. From the Developer Tools menu, expand the Deploy menu and click on Applications.
3. Click on the Create application button:

4. Enter an application name.
5. Choose AWS Lambda as a compute platform.
