Let's perform the following steps to add a FOSSA license check badge to our GitHub repository page:

1. Log in to FOSSA at https://app.fossa.com/projects.
2. Select Projects to generate a badge.
3. Switch to the SETTINGS tab.
4. Select SHEILD as the badge format:

5. Copy the MARKDOWN content to the clipboard.
6. Edit the README.md file on the GitHub repository you scanned. Paste the MARKDOWN badge code you copied in step 5 to the beginning of the file:

7. Once you've saved the file, the results of the FOSSA scan will be displayed in the badge on your repository.
