In this chapter we covered multiple ways to run Hadoop and other types of analytics jobs on top of the data stored on Cassandra. The key thing to take away from this chapter is understanding the importance of separating the analytics workload for better workload segregation. As a Layman tool, users can choose to extract all the data out of Cassandra using range queries, but this may not be optimal.

In the following chapter we will cover how Cassandra can be configured to secure the data stored in it.
