We covered a lot of ground in this introductory chapter but, by now, you know the reasons for using Dart in the context of web applications. We also saw where Dart apps can live, how they are executed, and the various tools to work with Dart, in particular, the Dart Editor.

You also got acquainted with some simple command-line and web Dart apps and got a feeling for the Dart syntax. In the next chapter, we will explore the various code and data structures of Dart more systematically. Any obscurities that are still there in your mind will surely disappear.
