Launched in 2016 and invented by Giuseppe Gallo, the zingy liqueur was inspired by a 19th-century family recipe and is becoming increasingly popular worldwide. Light, citrusy, and refreshing, this new bergamot gem will brighten any afternoon drinks.

the CLASSIC RECIPE

The bubbly of choice, Prosecco, makes for a truly Italian experience.

1. Fill a red wine glass with ice cubes.

2. Add 2 fl oz (60ml) Italicus.

3. Top with Prosecco.
