The French 75 is one of the most popular celebration cocktails for weddings, birthdays, New Year’s Eve, or just because it’s Friday. It can be traced back to the Parisian New York Bar in 1915, the name inspired by the comparable kick of the French 75mm howitzer gun. This drink made its first published appearance in The Savoy Cocktail Book in 1930.
