Created in celebration of summer, the sweet rhubarb and rose flavors lifted by the bubbles are such quintessential aromas of this season. With rum as the base spirit, the name is a nod to the mischievous rum runners of the 1920s.
The flat coupe glass allows the aromas and beautiful pink hues to shine.
1. In a mixing glass with ice, combine 1 fl oz (30ml) white rum, 1 fl oz (30ml) Cocchi Rosa, and 1 fl oz (30ml) rhubarb syrup.
2. Stir for 20 seconds.
3. Strain into a coupe glass and top with Champagne.
