CHAMPAGNE

FRANCE

METHOD: Traditional

THE WORLD’S OLDEST and most famous fizz is made exclusively in the Champagne region in France. To qualify for the Champagne label, the region, method, and grapes must all follow regulations. The exceptionally high demand for this sparkling wine gives it a slightly higher price tag. The driest (least sweet) of our fizz styles listed, nearly all Champagne is made in the “brut” style (meaning it has less than half a teaspoon of sugar per glass). With the smallest and most persistent bubbles, expect extra body and a buttery taste due to lees aging. Champagne also has naturally high and cleansing acidity.
