Linux containers

So now let's fuse together namespaces, cgroups, and some common version baseline in the Linux kernel, and you'll get LXC, which stands for Linux containers.

LXC has been part of the vanilla Linux kernel since February 20, 2014, and therefore can be used out-of-the-box on every Linux server.
