BAHTTEXT()

Syntax. BAHTTEXT(number)

Definition. This function converts numeric values into numerals (in Thai text) and adds the suffix Baht.

Arguments

  • number (required). A number converted into text, a reference to a cell that contains a number, or a formula that returns a number

Background. The conversion of numeric values into the corresponding numerals is often used for checks or contracts, to protect against forgery and to avoid misunderstandings.

You can convert numeric values into Thai text but not into English text. There are, however, several downloads available on the Internet that provide this facility. Chapter 6, describes custom functions in more detail.

Example. Unless you have downloaded English conversion tools, this is only of use for Thai conversions.
