Use foursquare to Create a Place for Check-Ins

Depending on what your audiences are like, they may enjoy using a geo-tagging service like foursquare to check in to your event. You can get details about adding your own specific venue on foursquare by visiting the Add Venue section of foursquare online.

If you do, be sure and offer them some kind of special swag, discount, badge (a virtual status symbol within foursquare), or recognition for participating. If you set up a foursquare check-in, be sure to monitor foursquare alongside your other social media channels.
